A MESSAGE FROM THE CHIEF OF POLICE

Welcome to the Village of Tuxedo Park Police Department web page.

The Village of Tuxedo Park Police Department comprises a dedicated and skilled group of professionals committed to working with the community to make the Village of Tuxedo Park a safe and desirable place to live, work, or visit.

Our mission is to partner with the community to solve problems and improve public safety in a fair, impartial, transparent, and consistent manner, otherwise known as Community Policing.  As we continue to navigate through 2021 and hopefully the end of the pandemic, we will be updating the website to provide information to the community as to the services we perform, our mission statement, our goals, and other messaging that we have discussed as part of criminal justice reform. 

As a taxpayer or user of the services offered by the Village of Tuxedo Park Police Department, you are our largest asset in the fight to prevent crimes of opportunity or misguided personal desire. As we embark on our primary mission of providing for peace and security for the greater community of Tuxedo Park, we hope that you will continue to support our efforts by contacting the police department when you believe a crime has been or may be committed.

 This website reflects one way that the Village of Tuxedo Park Police Department attempts to provide our resident’s information.  We will change information from time to time. If you have any suggestions or information you would like to share or wish to see posted on this website, call the Police Department or send me a quick e-mail.  We want to be as informative and transparent as possible but can only do so with your input, guidance, and productive dialogue.

The principal mission for the Village of Tuxedo Park Police Department is to provide for the peace and security of all residents of the Village of Tuxedo Park. This is best accomplished by adjusting responses as they evolve in law enforcement and the Tuxedo Park community at large. To accomplish this task, we train department members with new and innovative policing techniques. We work closely with other agencies on the Local, County, State, and Federal levels. We enforce all laws fairly and impartially at all times.

Our Mission Statement:

These are the primary functions of most law enforcement agencies through the Tuxedo Park Police Department provides many other services such as:

• We will continue to add services and programs
