The Mayor and Village Board of Trustees are the Village of Tuxedo Park’s governing body, elected by residents to serve the community in that capacity on a volunteer basis. The Mayor and Trustees serve alternating two-year terms.

The Mayor presides over meetings of the Village Board. Together, the Mayor and Village Board of Trustees are the legislative body and the community's policymakers. They perform such duties as reviewing and approving the annual budget, reviewing and adopting local laws and regulations, authorizing significant projects and associated contracts, and more. Residents and other community members are strongly encouraged to participate in community meetings to help shape the many important decisions made by the Village Board.

The Mayor is at Village Hall every Thursday from 6pm to 7pm to meet with residents.
