A Tradition of Private Giving
Tuxedo Park residents have a tradition of private giving to projects and causes outside of the village budget.
For example, Village Residents raised over $130,000 to replace the old Guard Booth with a new gatehouse in August 2021.
A family recently donated $200,000 for upkeep and improvements to the village bridle paths and trails.
A resident donated $100,000 to purchase new equipment for the village department of public works.
To support the village’s continued environmental and beautification efforts, residents also make voluntary contributions to the Race Track Nature Preserve and Garden Club.
Individual donations to the village are tax-deductible. The village does not give tax advice, and we recommend you contact your attorney.
