DISCOVER TUXEDO! EVENT

Posted June 2, 2022
Come and Meet the People, Organizations, and Companies that Service Tuxedo on Saturday, June 11, 2022: 10 AM until 2 PM.

Organizations and Vendors will be on-site at Powerhouse Park to meet with residents, where they will have an opportunity to explain the services they offer. With over 30 participants, DISCOVER TUXEDO! is scheduled to coincide with the opening of the Tuxedo’s Farmer’s Market located at the historic Tuxedo Train Station.

Discover Tuxedo Day is an opportunity to meet and greet your neighbors, local businesses, and organizations. You can find a plumber or join the Pollination Meadow Volunteers”, says Kimberly Breiland, one of the organizers of the Tuxedo Community Activity Council (TCAC).

Participants include the Town of Tuxedo Police Dept., Tuxedo Park Police Dept., Tuxedo Joint Fire District, Tuxedo Park School, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, St. Mary's in Tuxedo, Beth Haverim Shir Shalom, Butterfly Pollinator Meadow, Environment and Climate Change, Tuxedo Park Tree Advisory Board, and many others.

TCAC, founded by Tuxedo residents, community members, and organizers, was established to unite Tuxedo residents with informative and recreational programs that focus on Tuxedo's historic and unique characteristics.

DISCOVER TUXEDO! is the first event planned by the organization, with many more events in the works.

Let's have a big show of Tuxedo Park Support for this event! See you there.
