FOLLOW UP - School Budget & Board of Education Election

The School taxes make up 50% of our taxes +/-. While we control the Village budget by attending meetings and voting, we can affect the school budget by attending meetings and voting.
We should be more hands-on in School (and Town) Budget matters and elections because every vote counts. We need the same enthusiasm and turnout for their elections as ours, however, the number of people that vote in School and Town elections shows otherwise.
Here are important dates for you to consider:

The 2022 School Board election and budget vote will take place on Tuesday, May 17.
