Dear Past Applicants to the BAR, PB & BZA, 

The board members share a common purpose to uphold the construction and architectural significance consistent with our past and our designation as a historic district listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  We also want to improve the process for the applicants and would like to spend the following few months gathering information from prior applicants on how we might do that. 

We welcome constructive suggestions, including how we could speed up the process, lower costs, improve the Design Guidelines, improve communications, the application process itself, and enhance the building department and permit process? 

We seek input on small to large applications.

Please send all suggestions in writing to Elizabeth Doherty, or drop your suggestions at the village office.
