Meeting Summary:

The public commented on the Draft Local Law No. 1 of 2021.

The Board voted unanimously to adopt the Local Law Amending the Village Code Regarding Wee Wah Lake Regulations. The law does not affect, alter, or change the lease agreement between the WWBC & Village.

The Mayor announced a conditional seven-figure offer to purchase the village property where the beach and DPW is located. The buyer seeks to build a new residence.

The monthly reports and minutes were approved unanimously and added to the record.

The Consent Agenda was approved unanimously and included appointing Chris Hansen as Chair of the Village Code Committee and Deputy Mayor Tinka Shaw as Committee Liaison; appointing Scott Ulrey as Chair to the Sewer & Water rates Committee; appointing Mayor McFadden to Chair of the Tree Advisory Committee (TAB) replacing Trustee Paul Brooke; adopting Chief Dave Conklin’s updated rules of procedure for the Police Department; approving the decommissioning and auction of a Police patrol car.

The Board agreed unanimously to halt further DASH work for the 2021 season.

The Mayor mentioned a proposal to resident Claudio Guazzoni to create a park for village residents at the south end of Tuxedo Lake.

The Board unanimously approved selling a Village-owned lot to Sean and Anne Madden with conditions to be met first.

The Board unanimously approved the Mayor to pursue automatic gate openers for residents.

The Board discussed delinquent Town Customer water bills.

The Board discussed the relocation of the Village DPW, storage units, Village Office, and new north gate on property near the Wee Wah damn owned by the Town.

The Board discussed invasive vines and vegetative riparian borders on the lakes.

The Board unanimously approved a time extension for the Town and Village annexation hearing for Town lots owned by Michael Bruno.

The Mayor approved the months' Audit of Claims.

The Board unanimously approved several budget transfers.

The Board discussed the DPW and Police contracts and a legal matter in Executive Session.
